Cyber-Physical System assisted Platooning Method Using Dynamic Correlation of Destination Vectors in Urban Roads

Economic losses due to delays in traffic congestion is serious social problems. Platooning has recently been attracting attentions from many researchers alleviate jams, especially highway. On highways, platooning can have positive effects, such as running at a constant speed with multiple vehicles which leads fuel-efficient driving, reducing air resistance and so on. However, the impacts of urban roads not addressed detail since lights may break platoons. In this paper, we propose method using L2 norm cosine similarity form platoon highly similar routes. Also, investigate sorting within according each vehicle’s straightness eliminate Head Line blocking intersections improve throughput intersections. We Cyber-Physical System approach control collaboratively roads. Computer simulation results confirmed that proposed shortens average travel time by 34.31%. This paper also shows validity forming based on destination vectors platoon.
